TIME: 07:00 – 11:30 Classroom training – 11:30 break for lunch at The Meeting Nook. 13:30 at the scenario location.

 16:00 – 17:00 return to Dell Rapids SD Fire & Rescue for conclusion.

If you are currently a first responder or a first responder Chaplain, Chaplain`s International comprehensive advanced first responder training is specialized to train first responders and Chaplains, to provide crucial training on the field of disasters during and after the disaster occurrence.

This one-day training provides powerful techniques that are valuable when first responders and chaplains are dealing with emergency or crisis situations.

First responders and Chaplains will be taught operational components and powerful training tools for use, while learning from Chaplain David A Johnson with real-world experience. Students will learn how to function within a crisis setting, such as learning how to communicate and assist law enforcement and emergency service responders during a crisis.

First responders who are not chaplains are welcome to participate as well. If you are not currently a first responder Chaplain, this course will only certify you in advanced first responder training in the topics listed. If you are interested in being a first responder Chaplain or if your department would like private training, please contact us for details.

On completion of this training students will receive a certificate of completion from Chaplain`s International on Advanced Chaplain / or Advanced First responder in the following areas:

Triage & disaster management / medical helicopter landing zone protocols and procedures / Scene safety / (PPE) Personal protective equipment & Go bag / Trauma informed care / Communication during disaster / Incident command / Crime scene basics / Tourniquet training / Narcan / the basics of AED / understanding illegal drugs.
