Would your church like to be more involved with your community in law enforcement, prison ministry, elder care, hospital, or community care, we come alongside and provide emotional and educational support. Our Community Chaplains program offers a bridge between the local church and the community, meeting the needs of those who are hurting. Chaplains International is committed to expanding the chaplaincy in the church, helping by equipping and qualifying the church to respond to the community during times of need. 

Community Chaplains serve in the local, county, state, and federal agencies and provide various vital services within the law enforcement, fire & rescue, and EMS in your community. The Chaplain responds to these unique needs and challenges with spiritual guidance, a reassuring and trustworthy presence, resources, and counseling services. Also, Community Chaplains often involved as resource providers in assisting with hostage negotiations, death notifications in the community, public relations, and other needs that the first responder agency might have.

This one-day training provides powerful techniques that are valuable when dealing with emergency or crisis situations within the community.
 Students will explore the theoretical, operational components of crisis intervention and important training tools to use while learning from Master Chaplain David A Johnson with real-world experience. Students will learn how to function within a crisis setting, such as learning how to communicate with law enforcement and emergency service responders as well as receiving basic training in lay counseling and crisis intervention. These powerful techniques are valuable when dealing with police, fire Dept, Emergency medical services and your local community in a crisis.
